to the cancer community.
 
 
Manatee County, FL – Manatee Cancer Center is hosting “Monday Makeover” for cancer women on 

Monday, March 19, 2012, at Manatee Cancer Center East 
(401 Manatee Avenue East, Bradenton, FL 34208)
from 10 am – 12 noon. 

And again on
Monday April 16, 2012, at Manatee Cancer Center West 
(6215 21st Ave West, Bradenton, FL  34209) 
from 10 am to 12 noon.   

Chanel Makeup Artistes, Joan Russell and Dawn Patterson, are providing the free makeovers. 
 
“Joan and Dawn are wonderful volunteers,” says Dr. Mary Koshy, physician at Manatee Cancer Center.  “They each have years of experience as professional makeup artists and are generously donating their time for this monthly event.”
 
The event is the brainchild of Joan Russell who worked in the cosmetic field in Miami for many years.  “It’s amazing what a difference a little makeup can do for your morale,” Russell says.  “Looking healthy is so important.”  Russell has personally experienced treatment for cancer and says that she wants to show other women how to fight back, too.
 
The the event is open to the entire cancer community.  “Anyone who has ever fought cancer, is currently fighting cancer, or is a caregiver, is welcome to participate. Patients from other treatment facilities are also welcome.
